Return of the Anti-Social....

Man by nature is a social animal... needs others around inorder to flourish. Can a person survive and flourish in solitude... or would one wither and die when forced to remain alone. Death is almost certain in solitude... I mean not all of us can be as lucky as Robinson Crusoe... or for that matter even he had Friday. And... most important of all that was fiction! Tom Hanks as Chuck Noland in Cast Away was more closer to the real world... and there again... his character returns to civilization as we know it! (I have always missed the finale of this movie whenever it got aired on television, hence I am not exactly sure if quoting it here would be apt to prove my point... if at all there exists one!!!)

Anyways... what I want to say is that most of us who live in densely populated urban areas are still very much alone in our very private worlds... so... what happens to such people! Who are connected yet disconnected in many essential ways... do they become anti-social and thoroughly incapable of even a simply conversation!? Or do they become hyper-active and paranoid and write blogs such as this one!!??
